I am not sure about many but for me turning 50 and getting real close to 51 has brought changes and these changes I have found to be quite beneficial. I realize that I have less time than more time on this earth 🌍. I also have found peace, comfort and relaxation.
The peace comes from attitude as I will always be nice to everyone I meet but deep down I really don’t care anymore about status, invites or material things or approval. The comfort comes from knowing that I have a life partner that has been there from beginning to end of the process of building a life. The relaxation comes from seeing the goals you set back in the day I can now see without glasses of accomplishment.
I always thought that I would dislike getting older but I have come to love it. You change, your priorities change, you strive more for peace, zero drama.
I wrote this today to remind me going forward that I did okay for a boy from Williford Arkansas. I want to continue to strive for the things that make me happy and always keep myself surrounded with people that bring joy, happiness as we start the last chapters of “life”.
