We cannot all live the perfect life (in my eyes anyway) where we can live in a city that has a MLB team and go to the ballpark every home game. It’s expensive for sure, we do have to work to say our bills etc. Howver I noticed something today on one of my TV’s.
First let me set the scene. My “Man Cave” has 5 TV’s b/c I love sports and will have multiple games going at once. The main bigger TV will always have the Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks or Bulls on. The other TV’s will have games that I am interested in or what is on.
After my beloved Cubs slobber knock the Twins today 10-1 #GoCubsGo >>>> I noticed the attendance with the Rockies vs Reds game. Very little attendance and the crowd that was there was spread all over the stadium. While this was going on I turn and see the same attendance with Nationals vs Athletics.
Now none of the 4 teams are anything to yell about this season however I have an idea with this blog. Maybe a MLB executive or team owner will see it.
Let all the fans move down to the lower tear for seats that were not bought up or season ticket holders that didn’t show up!! Give back to the fans that didn’t pay the bigger money for the lower and closer to the field seats a chance. This would make it better for them, the game and for sure how it is seen on TV. There were people in the nose bled cheap seats with no one in any seats of thousands of seats in below them.
Baseball is the greatest game ever played and we never know if the next greatest player will be in the stadium as a kid. Spread the game and the fan interaction to all. Fill the lower seats anytime there is low attendance!!!
