Call me old or call me what ever you want but these city connect uniforms for MLB is AWFUL. Maybe I am just a nostalgia type of guy and fan maybe. Let’s take todays Cincinnati Reds >>> they look like a gigantic Christmas sleepover set. The all red with that big C on the all red hat.
The Chicago White Sox and least try and mix up the black and red, Cubs go with a powder blue but nothing like the good ole pinned striped. Now let move onto the two absolute worst and those awards for to the NYC Mets with the bridge across the helmet.
It pains to me to really say this but the worst in all of MLB for the city connect uniforms has to be the Kansas City Royals. What are y’all doing with the purple pins with the candle looking logo???? When I think Royals baseball all I see is blur and white with the cursive KC!
No what Brett and all the greats can think that this was a good idea. Then again like all other things in sports things change with time. Honorable mention for horrid would have to be the Brewers as with that WISCO across the front. Looks like you are trying to sell timeshares of cheese and bad whiskey :)
Hands down WINNER for the best if there is such a thing since I like the old styles on all teams. Pull my arm and make me make a choice it would be the Pittsburgh Pirates. That all black with the gold with Pirates spelled out like running paint just hits. Too bad they suck at baseball however as they have one of the leagues best heater pitchers and PNC park is dynomite.
