Talk about a tough weekend of baseball for this @Cubs fan….. The @Cardinals come into Wrigley and whoop us 2 out of 3 games. I bet each of you at read this is like “wow Jeremy can lose with class” that’s right I can. I also am a firm believer that a blind hog can find an acorn from time to time as well.
Wonder boy that went 3 for 4 with all 3 being HR’s could not hit the broad side of a barn today. That tells the future as well. No ill will on the kid but he will be back in Memphis before long :)
Now I don’t want you to celebrate too much this evening. I mean the @Cubs still have the all time leading record stomping yall and we could go years and not win again and still be leading the overall. Also, you played a not complete team this weekend as well. Swanson was out, then got hurt, Busch had a day off and we had some subs in so our stars could get a little rest.
This rest will be needed as we will leave the Cardinals in the rear-view to chase down the @Brewers and run deep in October. As they say, better luck next year Red Birds!
