HOGS finally break over a year of losing to FBS teams and there were some good and some bad.
The good, the effort was there for both the 1st and 2nd half. The running game look good at times and it seemed that the team is starting to come around to Coach.
The bad, O-Line just got bullied most of the game. QB needs to plant his feet and throw the ball and let his receivers go get the ball.
I watched every second of the game and ensued I wanted to see was effort on every play. I saw that 99% of the time with each play on both sides of the ball. One thing that I would really like to see improve is getting the offensive plays in quicker. It might just be me but we seem to move the ball better when we play a “hurry up” offense. This keep the defense off and allows us to really get in a groove. It seems that we have issues moving the ball when we slow the game down to slow set plays.
However I personally like the sling it, run it and just play as fat as you can football.
Next up is Texas A&M that is 0-2 in conference play and the HOGS really need a solid contender WIN!!! #WPS
