Hello and happy Saturday you awesome people and I have a theory that I personally never happens but I think it will in the coming years.
Everything is about $$$$$and you see in your feeds that it is all advertisements and hardly anything from people, brands or family you follow. We literally have to search a name to see what has been posted lately. Now to “move up” in those ranks you can pay for “verified” profiles. I myself have those for platforms that it allows, not to move up to get their protected status from hackers etc.
Now back to why I think it is going to cost us to have social media. Money, money and more money!!! So many business depend on online sales, connections ands shares to grow their influence or sales these days. WE can deny it but it is the cold hard truth. We can spend years building a brand and anyone no can have zero followers and make one viral video and leave you in the dust for connections. The days or “word of mouth” have passed us, still there in small rural towns but dying off quickly.
Connection is social media b/c everyone walks around with a phone and when they need to know what is what and where is where is where that phone it. There is you lane of opportunity! So if you have a business or a brand understand this, embrace it, run with it and do not be shy about it as the phone book yellow pages are gone!
