These @Cubs just neber ever quit on baseball games EVER!! What a great game tonight against the @Pirates. Cubs come away with a 3-1 DUB and what a great way to start the weekend for this AVID FAN>>>> I love this team!
This team has every single obstacle thrown at them and they still are in the hunt. Pitching is our only weakness but that has turned to the better lately. Matthew Boyd come out tonight and gave us great innings with 90+ pitches, SHOTA has not given up the long ball too much lately. The rest of the staff has put solid innings in as well.
Now the bullpen has been an issue but we just need that solid set up and closer. Injuries have just bombed this staff all year long but they have hung in there. If this team can stay consistent with hitting b/c we have SUPER SOLID defense this team will make a run.
I just love the CUBS and have all my life, WGN > Harry + Steve was my childhood with all the past great players. My all time favorite Cub is Jody Davis, the big catcher started my love for the Cubs, baseball and catcher position. Go ahead and jump on the @Cubs bandwagon and lets get this team another World Series Trophy!
