Ole SONIC the place with drive in stalls, big menus and now a place where you have to request BACON or you do not get any with your deal that used to have BACON on it. A place where you used to be able to get a tub of ketchup and now you can only get packets. A place where you better be there 30 minutes before closing b/c those lights are going off 5 minutes before hand.
Bet that….
Now that the above little rant is over lets get to the point of how we as Americans have failed SONIC!
Number One>>> they have an app, so if you are going to order the entire menu you can do so with ease. They also have special parking stalls for those app orders. Makes ya feel kinda of special in a way :)
Number Two>>> They have stalls that you can pull in, take all the time you need and order what you want. That stall is your place. Get all the food, Ice Crème and just sit and listen to their music playing.
Number Three>>> The most important and THE REASON we have failed another summer as patrons of @SONIC. The DRIVE-THRU, see this is supposed to be for quick small things LIKE DRINKS. Not designed for 7 Ice Cream’s, four #1’s with extra pickles etc. Also, this should be a CASH lane with tip ready. Not your CashApp, Venmo or PayPal card. CASH CASH CASH….. See CASH is quick, like really quick. CC’s take time and hold up the line.
Now the finally, If you read this I hope it made you laugh and say “ I will do whatever the hell I want at Sonic” Just know if you see me in the rear-view mirror and you happen to be holding up my Diet Coke w/Cranberry with your big order, debit cards etc. >>>>>> I will not be sending you a Christmas Card :)
