Love, Kindness and Social Media….

As a person in their 50’s man what a change I have been able to witness over the years. There is so much less love in the world, the kindness that we used to have a teach each other. I believe and contribute this to social media.

Back in the day if you had an issue with someone you went to them directly and you hashed it out. Yes, hashing it out could have lead to hands passing each other’s face. It seems now the first thing society wants to do is jump on social media and bash a business or person without any fear. The ability to hide behind a keyboard is like a disease to this world.

Someone will read this and think “just another old man wishing the old days would come back” If that is you??? You bet I do, I miss when people would talk to each other, wave on the road to each other, went to eat with no phones. Back in the day with party lines you had to wait until Margaret down the road got off the phone with her church ladies to use the phone lol. The phone had turn dial and if you missed a number or didn’t go all the way around you had to start over.

There was more kindness in the world, people helped each other and the love for their community and fellow citizens could be seen in every grocery store or gym on Tuesday and Friday nights. I understand the world must change to keep up with times but can we get back to decent abilities with each other. Now to be clear I personally have no issues with anyone, I just want you to know that if you see me anywhere>>> I do not judge, I personally hope that you are hugely successful in life and business and I will show you the upmost kindness.

However, us old dogs should never be seen as soft or push overs. If needed, do some studying before you lack love and kindness towards us :)

Slow down world, remember that we never know what anyone is thinking or going through. However we can make sure that the time they are with us it is filled with laughter, kindness, love, respect and motivation.

Be that friend 24/7 on and off social media!
